Random Fun

Logan had fun trying on some of my hats and glasses the other day. He even wanted me to take his picture. I love the swim cap on him. It brings back such good memories of when I used to live at the pool.

January

January has been a long month at home. We haven't been out much, due to the cold weather and sickness. Two weeks after my virus, Logan came down with Croup and an ear infection. It took about a week for him to recover and he is doing much better now.
Chris and I have been enjoying watching Logan's language develop. He is starting to repeat everything we say. I included a video of Logan repeating his ABCs. Some of the letters are pretty clear and others are just funny.

Happy New Year

Our New Years Eve was very low key this year. We went out to dinner with our friends, the Hooks, and played games. After noticing that we didn't get a family Christmas picture during the holiday, we posed in front of our tree for a New Years Eve shot.
New Years day was more eventful than we expected it to be. I had to make a trip to the hospital after getting really sick. I was severely dehydrated and the blood tests revealed that I was far from normal. After staying the night in the hospital and being hooked up to an iv, I felt better and was released the next day. The doctor thought it might be a virus and told me to take it easy for a while. We are thankful it wasn't serious and that baby Brady (if you didn't know, we decided on our boy's name) is okay.
