Christmas

We have been very busy during the Christmas season. Every weekend in December was full of traveling and spending time with friends and family. We made 2 trips to St. Louis and a trip to the lake. On Christmas Eve, my parents and Chris's family celebrated at our house. Logan had a blast playing with his cousins and opening gifts.
On Christmas morning, Logan woke up to find a cozy coupe car sitting by the tree and we have not been able to get him out of it since. It was so much fun watching him open gifts this year because he was so excited about everything he got.

Christmas at the lake. Chris's great grandma, grandpa, and mom made this a 5 generation photo.

The best Christmas Gift ever from mommy and daddy.

The box was a hit until we opened the sit and spin : )

Probably not the safest toy to give a 19th month old, but it was sure fun.

Santa

Just as we suspected, Logan was not excited to see Santa this year. As you can tell from the photo below, he screamed when I sat him on Santa's lap. He did have fun in the Crayola Land surrounding Santa. After, seeing Santa, I took him to see the big train by the Crown Center Christmas tree and he loved it. We ate at Fritzes too, where a choo choo train delivered our food.

November 2008

Surprise! It's a boy. We had our ultrasound the day before Thanksgiving and found out that we are having a little boy. As much as I was hoping for a girl, we feel blessed to have a healthy baby boy who can be buddies with Logan. Our big boy is growing up fast and has started the process of potty training. He shows his potty signs in the video below.

We spent Thanksgiving in KC this year. Kathy fixed a great meal, and we stuffed ourselves silly. The day after Thanksgiving, we were able to catch up with Chris's grandpa and took the four generation picture below.

Now that it's winter, I'm feeling pretty crafty. I've started knitting scarfs and made the ABC pillows shown in the picture. The pillows are for Logan's new bedroom, and they go with his alphabet bedding.
